Return Policy

Here at the Acadiana Sports Car Orphanage, we proudly offer the highest quality OE-Replacement and performance parts available, and we stand behind the products we sell. All of our products are covered with our Limited 1-Year Warranty. For your added convenience, most warranty claims are handled directly through us. Should a product manufacturer offer a warranty over 1 year, we will be glad to assist you in contacting the manufacturer to begin the warranty process.

Warranty Returns -
Our Limited Warranty covers product defects, and failure not caused by abuse or improper usage. It does not cover normal wear on maintenance items such as filters, gaskets, and bulbs. In the rare case that an item should fail, please contact our customer service via email at: and have your original invoice ready. We will then provide a return authorization number. Returns that do not include a return authorization will not be accepted. Upon return of a defective item, a replacement will be shipped at no charge. A defective item can only be exchanged for the exact same item, and only exchanged one time. No refunds will be issued on defective returns. Customer will be responsible for return shipping for products being returned for warranty exchange/replacement purposes.

Incorrect Shipments -
If you should receive an item that you did not order, please contact customer service via email at: upon receipt of the incorrect item. We will provide a prepaid return shipping label for the incorrect item and ship the correct item at no charge. To determine if the wrong item was shipped, you may need to have your order number, your VIN number, and the actual part handy during this process.

Shipping Damages -Unfortunately, due to the nature of purchasing items that require delivery, the occassional shipping mishap does occur. Because of this, we ask you please inspect all items upon reciept. If you find an item damaged, please keep the boxes and all packing materials, and contact customer service via email at: within 2 business days of reciept. Please do not file a shipping carrier claim yourself, as this will delay the claims process up to 8 weeks. We will file all shipping claims for our customers, and make necessary arrangements to get the customer a functioning item.

Buyer Remorse -
f you should decide that you do not want an item and it is still in brand new condition, you may return it to us within 20 days of the original purchase date. Please contact us first for a return authorization number via email at: All returns must include a return authorization number. Returns that do not include a return authorization will not be accepted. Upon receipt we will refund the purchase price minus a 20% re-stocking fee. The item must be returned in unused condition and include the undamaged original item box inside the original shipping box. Used or installed items can only be exchanged for the same part. Shipping fees are not refundable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

After 20 days, we can not issue any refunds. Refunds will not be issued on used or installed items. Electrical parts can not be returned. Non-stocked items, special order items and custom made items such as gutted intake manifolds or shifters can not be returned.
