Preparations for Branson Z Fest 2011 Underway!

Even though it is still a month away, we have been working at a breakneck pace to prepare for what will be our first event as a company! This year, we are proud to be a sponsoring vendor at  Branson Z Fest, held in scenic Branson, MO from June 1-5, 2011. (Check out http://www.bransonzfest.com for more information!)

The sheer excitement of attending the event gets mixed in with all of the different aspects of getting prepared to spend a week doing what we love, while interacting with car fanatics and getting the Acadiana Sports Car Orphanage brand name out there. From past reports, the event itself should be wild, but planning the trip there is just as interesting as well! In years past, when I would travel to an event, such as The Mitty @ Road Atlanta, I'd simply figure out what I need, go swing by Wal-Mart the week before, pack the car, and drive!

However, being a business that will be presenting at the event, that simply won't cut it. Our preparations for BZF actually began in February, once we were informed we would be allowed to set up. As a supporting vendor, we will be donating quite a bit of product to be given away at the discretion of the event organizers, so we have planned for some really awesome stuff to be given. Also, we felt that Branson offered us a fantastic opportunity to display our product lines, including current offerings, as well as products we had in varying stages of development. BZF'11 will give us a venue to announce new product offerings in the setting that will allow customers to not only interact with the products, but ask questions of us as well.

We needed to balance preparing products for display with our increasing customer product demand. Thanks to word of mouth, and our high quality/reasonable pricing goals, business has been picking up more and more since our website here, at acadianasportscars.com, published to the web in March. Although Branson Z Fest is a fantastic opportunity, we need to provide high quality parts with a quick turnaround to our current customers, so we are working plenty hard to make that happen.

Also, there is the issue of transportation and logistics for an event like this. Renting a car, booking the room, travel time, expenses, arranging for literature, signage, and a tent/table are just some of the things we have to tackle for preparing for an event like this. We pride ourselves on putting our best foot forward, and adequate planning is a major part of that. Dotting the i's, and crossing the t's so to speak!

We really hope that those who have the chance to read this blog, will have the time and opportunity to come out and join us and multitudes of other automobile enthusiasts as we celebrate the Datsun/Nissan Z Car, and hopefully show that the Acadiana Sports Car Orphanage is here to stay for the long haul!

In fact, bring a printed copy of this blog to our event booth, and I'll make sure you get something from us, free of charge. It's a thank you from us, for helping support what we do, and what we stand for.

Hope to see everyone at Branson!
